Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

As my mother, father, and I were on our way from Springfield to Columbia, we found that our course would pass near Jefferson City at about dinner time. Since I knew my parents were fond of Chinese food, I used my cell phone to search Yelp's mobile site to see if there were any well-rated, inexpensive Chinese establishments near the highway. As it turned out, this restaurant was just a mile further along an exit where my parents had refueled many times without even knowing it was there. When we entered the restaurant, several things impressed us. The staff was very friendly and courteous to us at all times. My parents remarked upon the large number of bad checks stapled up above the ordering counter, and we all had a chuckle at a somewhat unfortunately-named menu item (see second photo). The dining area was relatively small, with just five or six tables, but did not feel crowded. Familiar with how such restaurants often have huge portions, we ordered two entrees (Mongolian Beef, Beef with Broccoli) to split among the three of us. The entrees came with fried or steamed rice (we chose fried) and an egg roll (or various other options, but we chose the egg roll) each, and we ordered an extra egg roll to make three. My parents were pleased to see that the hot tea they ordered actually was real, freshly-made tea, and came in cute (albeit not terribly Oriental) ceramic mugs. However, I was a little nonplussed that when I ordered "just water" to drink (which I had intended to mean just a cup of tap water, not wanting to add unduly to my parents' bill) they gave me bottled water instead. We all agreed that the food was excellent, and certainly well within our budget. The egg rolls were hand-made--not the frozen kind that many restaurants serve. The portions were such that 2/3 of an entree + egg roll was sufficient to fill us all up entirely. We were delighted by the good quality, good price, and convenience to the Interstate that we found in this little strip-mall Chinese restaurant. If we should ever again be passing through the area at the appropriate time, I imagine we would eat here again.

Overall I really enjoy their food, if this rating were based on their egg rolls alone it would be five stars as they have the best eggrolls in town crispy, sweet, and delicious. I do not recommend eating in the restaurant at least not in the summer as they never have the air-conditioning on which makes even picking up for takeout tedious. Their menu is somewhat hit and miss. Some of my favorites I have not liked at this place but I have found some new favorites or some twists on some old favorites that are to die for. And I am a sucker for good egg rolls and did I mention their's are the best?

Quick delivery, great food and wonderful value. They delivered to my room at the Best Western within 10 mins. Hot and sour soup was most excellent.

The food is edible, but not much past that. I've never experienced such bland and slimy beef and broccoli in my life and the fried pot stickers were soft and only partially fried. Delivery was fast so that's somethin'. Perhaps it explains the quality of the food. I'd stick with Hunan at this point in my Jefferson City Chinese food exploration.

I usually do take out the food is always good, not the best Chinese in the city but very good. The portions are large. Staff is very nice and very helpful. I enjoy the egg rolls and crab rangoon. I have had the General Chicken several times and the staff will make it as mild or hot as you want it. Its worth the stop in you will not be disappointed.

for some reason we order take out from here fairly often. The orders are sometimes mixed up but not too often. I'm never sure if I'm ordering a large or small portion. The staff is always very friendly. It's cheap and the fried dumplings are pretty good...especially the dipping sauce.
